Washington State Horse Park – Membership Update

The Washington State Horse Park was established to operate as an equestrian event facility that supports competitions, education, and community.

Over the past several years, the park has continued to grow into that role. Our event calendar is fuller, shows are larger, and more of the facility is in active use throughout the year. Many competitions now operate under specific requirements related to horse access, onsite presence, and use of shared spaces.

At the same time, the way the park is used day to day has naturally shifted, alongside the development of surrounding land and the end of access to adjacent properties that were never owned by the Horse Park. While recreational riding and trail use remain part of the park experience, overall access looks different today than it did when events were smaller and schedules were lighter.

For clarity and consistency, beginning in 2026 the Washington State Horse Park will discontinue annual memberships and operate solely under the existing per-visit haul-in fee structure.

Recreational-use riders are still welcome to use the facility when the park is open for general use. Availability will continue to vary based on the event calendar, and haul-ins can be paid online in advance or upon arrival, when the park is open.

We will continue to share updates on park availability through our website and social media channels.

Thank you for being part of the Washington State Horse Park and for supporting its continued growth and evolution.
